REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Dr. Jacobs has broad experience in ground-water and surface-water investigations, including environmental subsurface site characterization and remedial design and the generation and application of numerical models in support of these efforts.  He has engaged in hydrologic investigations focusing on rainfall-runoff estimation, estimation of hydrologic model uncertainty, flood routing, hydrologic statistics, water quality modeling, hydraulic modeling, and conceptual design of hydraulic systems.  Dr. Jacobs is experienced in application of standard numerical models used in practice for ground water, hydrologic, and hydraulic analysis.  He has programming expertise in development and maintenance of numerical codes and interfaces to ground-water, surface-water, and hydraulic models.
